15/52 :: the sing song of week 15 of 52

oh you barelegged boy, climbing feet and clutching hands on branches, you smiled down at me from up high, couldn't wait to get away, away from the ground below and up into your dreams. scattering sunshine from your laughter. I could hear your imagination, stringing delight across this small patch of wild

watching waiting, looking up at stars. running with the wind even though you know it is not a race. wrapped up in mysteries and creations. you furrow your brow and knit your heart against hurt so much so i can feel the tug, the sharp exhaustion of your body, the heavy heaving sigh of lungs that refuse to cry. you swallow up your worry. watching waiting, looking up at stars. you wish and wish and then you wish some more. then you are off, running, running with the wind even though you know it is not a race.
this mama needed quiet. time to breathe. inhale. exhale. she thought about zipping herself up in this tent, making it her abode forever. then her name was called, "mama, mama!" dancing sing song soul of a name that has forever entwined her life with three little souls. breathing, watching the soft lines on her stretch of stomach, little notches on her busy body reminding her of the promises she made when she carried them in her oh so long it seems ago. she watches these silver soft ridges rise and fall with each winding release of worries and this mama knows, when they call her name, shouting it out from across the trees and in patches of wild dancing beach winds, she will unzip the tent and return to this way that she loves best. "mama! mama!"
++oh oldest, you are a missing form absent from these pages this week. for you are always reading, and reading. and when you are not, you are pulling faces and joggling your eyes in silly mockery of life. watch out next week sweet oldest. i am determined to capture you doing something. different. different than pulling faces and joggling your eyes.++

portrait love
a sing song swing of delight against a grey sky, a sibling adventure out of doors.
sweet little moments of these three.
the laughing smile, taking her mama's picture & siblings in between.
those baby lips and scheming girls.
and this confetti delight!

+i have to say, there are some moments when i really have to stop my heart from tying in knots and taking over my body demanding for another little in my arms, all these babies and sweetness are just too much some days! {i wrote about that here.} but i adore this project so! let me know if there are others that have caught your eye.+  XXOO
