Oh Blake. You are trying to concentrate and do your homework. You have moments of fabulous goofy fun amidst the serious task at hand, but sometimes it is hard to sit with you. So I start to snap pictures. You do get it all done in the end. Oh homework, we have issues with you in this house.

Oh Gavin. You are so very nervous. Though YOU love to be the center of attention, having to perform a speech in front of parents and children you don't know, almost sent you over the edge. The sheet that hangs around your neck has your speech written on the back. However, reading it is a near impossible task for you, so you have had to memorize it. I hope someday, you will remember how triumphant you were, rather than the fact that dyslexia was slowing you down.

Sweet eldest, Eliot. You fell asleep doing homework. It made my heart all squishy for the boy-ness that still resides in you and the grown-up you are becoming.

Linking up again with these, and many other lovely mama's and their brood:
Kate
         Lilly
   Juliet
Luckybeans
and of course Jodi, who started it all.

I would love to know if you are joining in. I would love to see what has been going on in your life this past week.

adoringly to you all,
XXOO

  5. I think you summed that photo up of Eliot so perfectly. Doesn't matter how old they get, us Mamas can still see the glimmer of them as our babies.
